What is Friday Night Live?
Friday Night Live is a weekly meeting of social character during which participants have the opportunity to learn firsthand the Rational-Emotive and Cognitive-Behavior Theory in action. More specifically, each one of you will have the opportunity to receive a public session from personnel of the Institute, Dr. Chrysoula Kostogiannis and other colleagues, national and international.
Albert Ellis himself, founder of the Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (RECBT) in 1955, established the Friday Night Live events on a weekly basis. Friday Night Live events continue until today from the faculty of the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City (http://albertellis.org/event/friday-night-live-7/).

Thousands of people have participated in this event and thousands of people continue taking part in this live, therapeutic, experience on a weekly basis where their lives have changed forever!
The most important benefits of Friday Night Live are that people obtain a new, fresh, and flexible (rational), way of thinking, with more functional and healthy emotions and behaviors. Most of the participants realize that their new acquired rationale and life philosophy can be applied in all aspects of life, thus providing better daily functioning and new perspectives and possibilities of personal, interpersonal, and social development!
The Hellenic Institute’s Friday Night Live event will be taking place Friday night between 8:30 and 10:00 pm (please see schedule). In each Friday Night Live event, there will be live demonstration sessions with the scientific director and supervisor of the Institute, Dr. Chrysoula Kostogiannis, coordinator of the event. The audience will be provided with the opportunity to deal live with a personal issue/difficulty/problem by taking the challenge to sit on the client’s armchair and discuss with a therapist in front of a live audience! This is the beginning of personal change!
