Natalie Gkonou (M.A., RECBT)<\/strong><\/p>

Ms. Natalie Gkonou works as a counsellor and a psychotherapist. Her area of specialization includes anxiety, depression and grief disorders. She has obtained a Master of Arts (2011) in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from La Salle University (Philadelphia, USA).<\/p>

She is qualified and fully accredited (no. 2) to work as a Rational-Emotive and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and she is a fellow of The Hellenic Institute of Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (A Preferred Partner of the Albert Ellis Institute, New York, USA) in Athens, Greece.<\/p>

Her internship at the 2nd Municipal Health Center of Athens was focused on individual psychotherapy and professional counselling with adults who struggled with various emotional problems, derived mainly from anxiety and depression disorders. Also, her internship at AKTIOS \u2013 Elderly Care Unit included groups of cognitive empowering with elders struggling with dementia and Alzheimer\u2019s, as well as supportive counselling to the patients\u2019 relatives and personnel.<\/p>

She has worked as a psychotherapist with adults dealing with interpersonal relationships problems, grief issues, procrastination and goal issues, depression and anxiety disorders (panic attacks, agoraphobia and specific phobias) as well as a couple therapist with couples who struggled with intimacy, jealousy and anger issues.<\/p>

She currently works as a psychotherapist with adults who deal with emotional problems.<\/p>
